PLANNING: DATA MODELING

This is the part of our process where we model the data that will be collected by the system from various sources, how it will be structured and stored based on the designated storage platform. We provide a comprehensive look at all data that will flow through the system and the relationships between the data and its use within the different areas of the system. The resulting documentation acts as a quick reference guide to the system that allows future database developers of the system to quickly get up to speed on its layout and functionality.
