PLANNING: USE-CASE DEVELOPMENT

This is the part of our process where we illustrate user interaction with the system at every level. We develop use-case narratives that outline the steps of events within the system triggered by users or predetermined system events. We also develop a comprehensive use-case glossary that acts as a cross reference guide to understanding information within use-case models. This part of the process provides the ability to quickly and easily reference an area of the system and determine its original purpose and intended function within the system. This is especially important in standards based systems that are heavy laden with regulatory requirements and constraints to ensure that such stipulations have been adequately addressed.
